“From an early age in school and during my time in Army Cadets, the Legion was always there to support the youth. As a veteran who served 40 years and 2 months in the Canadian Infantry, I saw first hand how our Canadian Legions supported their veterans and serving members of our great military. As a member of a Legion, I thoroughly enjoy the comradeship and many activities. There is no better organization or club to belong to.”

“The Legion is important to me, with a friendly atmosphere where you can visit with friends, partake in sporting events or play cards. You can even enjoy a friendly drink of your choosing along with some great food.”

“My father, Frank Friesen, was a Canadian WWII Veteran who fought in the Netherlands & Germany. He lost a leg to a Schu-mine less than a month before the war ended. I am a Legion member to honour him and those who have served our country then and now. “Proudly Serving Those Who Served!”
