St. Patricks Day was a fun-filled event at the Legion.  The Member's Lounge was packed with people throughout the day socializing with each other and enjoying the Celtic folk music of the band, "Great Big Lake".   Plenty of suds was on tap to go with the traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage.

Lawrence CARON was born August 10th, 1924 in Pain Court, Ontario which is a small town 80 kilometres east of Windsor.  He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Regiment RCR Infantry to do his duty for his country during World War II.
